SUITÓR, -OÁRE, suitori, -oare, adj., s.f., s.m. 1. adj. Care suie, urcă, ascendent; spec. (despre plante) agăţător. 2. adj. (Despre ritmul versurilor) Cu intonaţie crescândă; ascendent. 3. s.f. Trecere verticală sau înclinată prin care se realizează legătura între două lucrări miniere situate la nivele diferite sau între un orizont subteran şi suprafaţă şi care nu este echipată cu mijloace de transport. 4. s.m. (înv.) Rudă în linie ascendentă. [pr.: su-i-] – Sui + suf. -tor.
