BLID, blide, s.n. (pop.) 1. Vas de lut, de lemn sau de tinichea în care se pun bucatele; strachină. ♢ expr. A mânca dintr-un blid cu cineva = a fi în mare intimitate cu cineva. Pe (sau pentru) un blid de linte = pentru o răsplată neînsemnată (primită ca preţul unei josnicii). 2. (La pl.) Vase de bucătărie. – Din sl. bliudu.

BLID blide n. pop. 1) Vas (de lut, de metal etc.) adâncit, de diferite forme şi cu diferite întrebuinţări. blid de bucătărie. ♢ A mânca dintr-un blid (cu cineva) a fi în relaţii de strânsă prietenie (cu cineva). 2) Conţinutul unui asemenea vas. ♢ Un blid de linte plată, de obicei neînsemnată, pentru care cineva se angajează să comită o josnicie. 3) la pl. Totalitate a recipientelor folosite la pregătirea sau la servirea mâncării; veselă; vase. ♢ A intrat nora în blide se spune despre o persoană cu mişcări stângace, în special când aceasta face zgomot cu vasele sau le sparge. /<sl. bliudu
