VICTORIÁN, -Ă adj. referitor la stilul la modă în Anglia în epoca corespunzătoare domniei reginei Victoria (1837-1901), caracterizat prin accentul pus pe pompă, ceremonial, precum şi prin pudibonderie, îngustime de vederi etc., iar în arhitectură printr-o ornamentaţie greoaie.
