ŞOMÁJ s.n. Fenomen economic cauzat de crizele sau recesiunile economice, care constă în aceea că o parte dintre salariaţi rămân fără lucru, ca urmare a decalajului dintre cererea şi oferta de forţă de muncă; situaţia aceluia care nu se poate angaja din cauza imposibilităţii de a găsi un loc de muncă. – Din fr. chômage.
