CHEMORECEPTÓR s.m. 1. Parte terminală a unui organ care, în contact cu moleculele unei substanţe din mediul extern, o recepţionează şi diferenţiază în funcţie de structura chimică. 2. Terminaţie nervoasă care înregistrează modificările chimice din mediul intern. [var. chemoceptor s.m. / < fr. chemo-récepteur].
