Faptul de a exporta; operaţie cu caracter comercial prin care o parte din mărfurile produse, prelucrate, completate sau reparate într-o ţară se vând pe piaţa altor ţări; exportare. ♦ (concr.) Totalitatea mărfurilor exportate. ♢ Export invizibil = vindere de servicii în (sau la) alte ţări. Export de capital = plasare de capital în alte ţări, unde se pot obţine mai uşor profituri mari. – Din germ. Export.
