GEOCÉNTRIC, -Ă, geocentrici, -ce, adj. Privitor la centrul Pământului; care are Pământul drept centru. ♢ Sistem geocentric = geocentrism. Mişcare geocentrică = mişcare aparentă a unui astru împrejurul Pământului, considerat ca centru. [pr.: ge-o-] – Din fr. géocentrique.
