GRENÁDĂ, grenade, s.f. 1. Proiectil uşor, alcătuit dintr-un corp metalic alungit, o încărcătură explozivă şi un focos, care se aruncă cu mâna sau cu un dispozitiv special. 2. Obiect de forma unei grenade (1), folosit la probele (proba) atletice de aruncări; p. ext. probă atletică practicată cu acest obiect.
