GĂGĂÚZ, -Ă, găgăuzi, -e, s.m. şi f., adj. 1. s.m. şi f. Persoană care aparţine unei populaţii de origine turcă, dar de religie creştină, care locuieşte în România (Dobrogea), în sudul Republicii Moldova, Ucraina, Bulgaria, Turcia. 2. adj. Care aparţine găgăuzilor (1), privitor la găgăuzi. – Din tc. gagavuz.
