HAM2, hamuri, s.n. Ansamblu de curele (sau de frânghii) cu care se înhamă calul sau alte animale (de tracţiune) la un vehicul. ♢ Gură de ham = ham rudimentar format numai din curelele de la pieptul şi gâtul calului şi din cele două şleauri. ♢ expr. A trage în (sau la) ham = a trăi o viaţă grea; a munci din greu. ♦ (Precedat de prepoziţii) Tracţiune (cu cai). Are cai buni la ham. – Din magh. hám.
