MOŞÍE, moşii, s.f. 1. Mare proprietate (funciară) dobândită de cineva (prin cumpărare, donaţie etc.); proprietate (mare) de pământ cultivabil. ♦ (înv. şi pop.) Avere moştenită; p. gener. orice bun moştenit. ♦ (fam.) Lucru de care cineva poate dispune cum vrea. 2. (înv.) Pământ strămoşesc; patrie. – Moş + suf. -ie.
