PĂGÂNÍSM s.n. 1. Credinţă religioasă a păgânilor; p. ext. credinţă religioasă a antichităţii greco-romane; epocă anterioară apariţiei creştinismului; păgânătate, păgânie. 2. p. anal. Atitudine filozofică, religioasă, artistică asemănătoare cu cea care se atribuie antichităţii greco-romane. – Păgân + suf. -ism.
