SENONIÁN, -Ă, senonieni, -e, s.n., adj. 1. s.n. Etaj al cretacicului superior, caracterizat prin faună de amoniţi, echinide, lamelibranhiate, gasteropode, corali etc. 2. adj. Care se referă la formaţiile sau la vârsta senonianului (1). [pr.: -ni-an] – Din fr. sénonien.
